Golf Classic

The annual SMC Foundation Golf Classic is scheduled for September 15, 2010, at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, one of the most coveted golf courses in the country. Participants will enjoy a gourmet brunch and dinner, and snacks will be provided throughout the day. Proceeds from the event will provide funding for programs and technology at Somerset Medical Center.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $5,000 to $50,000.

Steeplechase Distance Run
October 3, 2010
The Steeplechase Distance Run is a community fundraiser intended to raise awareness and funds for The Steeplechase Cancer Center. Proceeds will enable the cancer center to enhance its programs, reach more patients, and continue to provide cutting-edge technology. The 2010 event will include certified 25K and 5K routes and is a pre-qualifier for the New York City Marathon and other major races. In addition, the event includes a one-mile "fun run" for families. The courses run through scenic neighborhoods and landscapes providing enjoyable routes that runners of all ages and experience levels will enjoy.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $2,500 to $30,000.

Prostate Cancer Awareness Night with the Somerset Patriots
September 17, 2010
On September 17, 2010, Somerset Medical Center and the Somerset Patriots will partner for a Prostate Cancer Awareness event at TD Bank Ball Park. This special event is a fundraiser for The Steeplechase Cancer Center, as well as a community health outreach event.
The evening will include great baseball, fireworks, and Patriots' players and manager Sparky Lyle will wear commemorative blue jerseys, which will be auctioned off that night to benefit The Steeplechase Cancer Center. Nurses from the cancer center will be available to answer questions on cancer and prevention.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $2,500 to $10,000.

Home Run Club
Spring/Summer 2010
Each time a Somerset Patriot player hits a home run in 2010 (including playoffs), the title sponsor will receive scoreboard (TD Bank Ball Park) and radio broadcast recognition as well as internet and other marketing opportunities throughout the year. In 2009 the Patriots hit 105 home runs.
